We offer group kayaking tours around Bird and Peanut Island

Educational Field Trips: FFA offers educational kayaking and powerboat excursions for groups of 10 or more. Hands-on activities on Peanut Island or Bird Island make it fun for students to learn about the environment. Depending on the activities chosen by the group, students will get a chance to catch marine creatures, prepare for their boater’s exam, take nature excursions on Peanut Island, snorkel or learn how to navigate around the island using a compass. Each two- to three-hour activity is guided by our trained staff and volunteers.

Group Introduction to Kayaking: Learn paddling techniques, capsize recovery and other skills while seeing your local waters up close. Outings are offered for four consecutive Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon throughout the year.
